The Hazleton Area School District is a public school district in Pennsylvania, covering approximately 289 square miles, stretching over portions of Luzerne, Schuylkill and Carbon Counties, and is among the largest public school districts in the state.
 
Our mission is to provide safe and efficient transportation for all the students of the Hazleton Area School District.
 
Every day the Hazleton Area School District uses 9 school bus contractors to run 79 regular education routes for the 2012-2013 School Year and is currently transporting:
 
                              7,866 Public School Students (approx)
                                 398 Non-Public Students (approx)
 
Special Education Transportation is provided thru the Luzerne Intermediate Unit 18 and is currently transporting about 348 students for the Hazleton Area School District.
