    Welcome to
    Speech/Language Therapy
    at McAdoo Kelayres Elementary/Middle School!

Please see HOME PRACTICE page for COVID-19 ALERT Review and Practice information and HOW TO USE GAMES AND DAILY ACTVITIES FOR SPEECH AND LANGUAGE

    Hello McAdoo Kelayres Family!

First, students and parents, I want to wish you all well. I hope you are all safe and staying healthy! I miss you all so very much! This situation is not like anything we have ever encountered before but we are all in it together (eventhough we are apart). I want you to know that I am here to help you in whatever way I can. Please email me with any questions or concerns. I will be checking my email frequently throughout each day.

Second, check out the HOME PRACTICE page for a list of websites to use as resources to review and practice to keep up with your skills. You can use these to add to your practice pages in your speech folders. If you don't have a speech folder, you can use these resouces. Make sure you check the HOW TO USE GAMES AND DAILY ACTIVITIES FOR SPEECH AND LANGUAGE page for ideas that you can use also. Speech is something that you can "practice" all day long no matter where you are. You can check your IEP goals to make sure you remember the sounds or the language skills you are working on.

Finally, I will be adding new information as it becomes available. If you have any ideas or resouces that you want to share, please email them to me and I will be happy to post them. You and I will be learning new ways to get through these extraordinary times and my hope is that we can help each other!

Some of your classroom teachers have added me to Class Dojo and Class Tag which are new to me but I am willing to learn. You can contact me there or send me an email at bertas@hasdk12.org.

Take care and stay well! I am looking forward to being together with you all again soon!

    Sincerely,

    Mrs. Sandra Berta
