Welcome to Mr. Koch's Website
My name is Jeff Koch and I will be teaching your son or daughter in biology class this year. I have been teaching in the Hazleton Area School District since 2005. I am from and graduated high school from Hazleton Area, completed college from the Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education concentrating in teaching biology, and also received a Masters of Science Degree in Biology from East Stroudsburg University. I also teach biology courses at Luzerne County Community College. In addition, I am the advisor for the Ski Club, Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science (PJAS), and STEM Ecology Club.
I look forward to teaching you about the many fascinating themes, principles, and techniques of the scientific world. Throughout the year, I will strive to create an exciting and stimulating learning environment by challenging you with a vast amount of hands and minds-on opportunities to increase your knowledge and skills in biology. My goal for the semester is for the students to leave my classroom with a greater appreciation about science and the world around them.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns as the year progresses. Communication is the key to success! Let’s have a great year learning science!Subscribe to Our Page
