This weekend the HAHS Marching Band competed in the Tournament of Bands Region 2 Championships held at Blue Mountain High School.
Our marching band placed 1st with a score of 85.5 for placement, visual and music presentation. Senior Ciarra Bracero was selected to receive a TOB Region 2 Scholarship to support further education in music.
Sunday November 2 the marching band will participate in the Atlantic Coast Championships in Hershey.

Picture day for the Hazleton Area Career Center is on September 24, The Hazleton Area Academy of Sciences is on September 25, The Hazleton Area Arts and Humanities Academy is on September 26, and The Hazleton Area Cyber Academy is on September 29. Furthermore, Picture make up days will be on September 30 for the High School and Career Center, while make-up day for the Academy of Science and Arts and Humanities will be on October 1. Be sure to dress your best and bring your biggest smile.
