HASD YOUTH FIELD HOCKEY CLINIC
The 21st annual field hockey clinic is set for 2026
This is an opportunity for girls who have never played to learn this exciting sport, the basic skills and small game play on a turf field!
Participants: Girls currently in 3rd-7th grade who are interested in playing field hockey (no prior experience is necessary). Each session will include instruction and drills followed by small team games.
Dates: Mondays and Wednesdays beginning May 11th through June 3rd
Times: 5:30 to 7:00 PM
Location: Harman Geist Stadium (175 N. Wyoming St. Hazleton, PA 18201)
Cost: FREE No charge to participate
Equipment needed: Hockey stick, ball, mouthguard and shinguards
Deadline for registration is May 7th

HASD is celebrating National Music In Our Schools Month with its annual BAND FESTIVAL - Tuesday, March 17th at 7pm in the HAHS Auditorium.
$6 Admission (Cash Only) - Tickets sold at door
$1 from each ticket sold goes to the Haraschak Scholarship Fund that awards students to attend music festivals outside of HASD.
200 band students grades 5-8 from 8 middle schools are coming together to make music!
Featuring performances by the HAHS Bands.

Hazleton Little League Baseball, Softball, and Challenger Division Registrations for the 2026 season will begin Monday, January 19th and run through Sunday, March 1st.
There will be a in-person assisted registration sessions at the Hazleton Integration Project (225 East 4th Street, Hazleton, PA 18201) on the 2/6, 2/20, 2/27 from 6-7:30pm (computers will be available to complete registrations).
Boys & Girls 4-12 years old, born between September 2013 and January 2022 are eligible for Baseball. Girls 4-16 years old, born between January 2009 and December 2021 are eligible for Softball.

Please see the attached flyers for documents that are required to register your child and the fee. Please note there is no fee for the challenger division.

This is a reminder that beginning January 1 through March 31, The GIANT Company invites customers to join in supporting Feeding School Kids by rounding up at the register. The GIANT Company will directly support customers’ generosity by matching all donations up to $100,000. The coaches of the HASD field hockey program will be having “Open Field” for all girls entering grades 7 through 12 interested in participating in the HASD field hockey program in the fall. Sessions will be held on Sundays and Tuesdays from 5:30 to 7:00 at Harman-Geist Stadium from June 22 through July 29th. No experience is necessary.
