The 21st annual field hockey clinic is set for 2026
This is an opportunity for girls who have never played to learn this exciting sport, the basic skills and small game play on a turf field!
Participants: Girls currently in 3rd-7th grade who are interested in playing field hockey (no prior experience is necessary). Each session will include instruction and drills followed by small team games.
Dates: Mondays and Wednesdays beginning May 11th through June 3rd
Times: 5:30 to 7:00 PM
Location: Harman Geist Stadium (175 N. Wyoming St. Hazleton, PA 18201)
Cost: FREE No charge to participate
Equipment needed: Hockey stick, ball, mouthguard and shinguards
Deadline for registration is May 7th

Hello Parents, and Guardians!
On Wednesday, March 18, Maple Manor will welcome parents to the school for an open house from
6-7:30pm. Parents can view student work and see their children's classrooms.
In the cafeteria, the PTA will be selling chances to various tricky trays donated by our teachers and staff. All tickets are cash only, and we hope you will support our PTA by purchasing chances for some AMAZING themed baskets. Tickets cost: 10$ for a 26-ticket sheet.
The sixth-grade service club also is offering pictures with the Easter Bunny. Pictures are $1 for a single person and $5 for a group (up to 7 people) .

Read Across America PAC and PTA Spirit Week: March 2nd- 6th
Monday, March 2nd , 2026 Read Across America Guest Reader Day- visitors in the building will be student readers from the HACC and HAHS. 9:30 a.m.- 10:30 a.m. (For all 3rd-6th grade homerooms.)
Each day throughout Spirit week, students will participate in a variety of themed activities centered around Read Across America. The Middle School Book Club will also take part in assisting elementary students throughout the week.
Wednesday, March 11th, 2026 Community Reader Day will be held at 1:00 p.m.- Meet an author from our local area who will be reading to all 4th grade students and families. Fourth grade parents are welcome to attend this event.

5th grade Science Fair~ Tuesday, March 17th from 9:30 a.m.- 10:30 a.m. in the gym.

There will be a in-person assisted registration sessions at the Hazleton Integration Project (225 East 4th Street, Hazleton, PA 18201) on the 2/6, 2/20, 2/27 from 6-7:30pm (computers will be available to complete registrations).
Boys & Girls 4-12 years old, born between September 2013 and January 2022 are eligible for Baseball. Girls 4-16 years old, born between January 2009 and December 2021 are eligible for Softball.

Parent Engagement Program
The "Afterschool Math Painting Program" will take place on Thursday, January 22nd from 4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. This is ONLY for the students who returned their slip. Parents and students should arrive by 4:15 p.m. to sign in. Those who signed up will receive an admission ticket and reminder in advance from their homeroom teacher.

PROGRAM AND PAC MEETING WEATHER UPDATE:
The Book and Empanada Program for 3rd and 4th grade will be moved to Thursday, December 4th at 9:30 am. due to the weather. Parents, please arrive at 9:15 am.
Our PAC meeting following the event will also be postponed to Thursday, December 4th at 10:45 am. in the gym.
