    Students and parents should complete all of the assignments listed below weekly. Take your time and do the assignments when you can. Develop a daily routine. Students and parents should work together.

     Please continue to practice identifying and using adjectives. Complete the following pages in your GRAMMAR workbook: 126,127,128,129,130. Click on the picture to listen to directions for playing an adjective game.

    Listen for VOCABULARY words and 2-syllable words with vowel teams we have learned.

    In your marble tablet, you can make a graphic organizer to show a problem and its solution from this story. Click on the picture and you can copy it into your marble tablet and then complete the chart. I will start you off with the problem statement :     A dollar bill gets worn out or torn.        Now, you can write down ways to solve this problem that you read in the story. Go back and re-read if you have to. It is always good to read something 2 or even 3 times.



               Mrs. Cain taught a lesson about PROBLEM and SOLUTION at the top of this webpage in the Weekly Reading Lesson. In the YOUR TURN workbook, you can complete pages 283-285.  




    This year we will only practice adding and subtracting 3 digit numbers withOUT regrouping. A 3 digit number has 3 places - ones, tens, and hundreds. Click on the picture for some practice worksheets. You can print out the pages or just copy the problems in your marble tablet and solve.

     3. Login to Raz Kids - click below on the rocket ship picture - Read the Raz Kids books your teacher assigned. Answer the questions after you read the book. 

    I put a quiz in the MY ASSIGNMENT rocketship about Sylvester and the Magic Pebble that Mrs. Cain read in her video READING lesson. Take the quiz to see how well you listened and remember!

    ***If you did not complete a FLIGHT CHECK in RAZ kids yet: Please click on these BLUE WORDS to watch a short video about how to do it. Then when you go to RAZ kids click on the FLIGHT CHECK rocket ship and complete the test. 

         *** This is the last week to complete a FLIGHT CHECK. If you have already finished one or both of the stories: Two American Bears or Peanut Butter:An American Favorite,  check for a comment from me in the message bubble at the bottom of your planet screen.

    7.    Optional Writing Prompt -   In your journal, answer the following questions. You should be able to write 6 or 7 complete sentences. 

                       What do you do when you get money? Do you spend it? Do you save it? Maybe you do both. Tell about why you would save money. If you spend it, what do you spend it on?
