Free breakfasts and lunches will continue to be given every Monday through Friday from 11:30 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. until further notice. You can get your free breakfast and lunch from the front of the school. Please let us know if you have any questions.
In these challenging times, we continue to adapt for the continuing changes in our lives because of COVID-19. Although school families and staff members have been separated, we want to ensure your confidence in us as a school in providing a continuity of education for your child (ren) through enrichment and review and providing any current information. Students will not be held accountable for these enrichment and review activities, but we as educators feel they can be helpful to continue academic growth.
In regards to educational activities, we ask families to visit the websites of their child’s teacher for specific activities. Please remember to visit the fine arts teachers such as art, music, consumer science, and gym to name a few. Each teacher will have extension activities. We are also recommending but not requiring each student to access these two district-funded enrichment and review websites:
Students in Grades K-6
Imagine Learning Language and Literacy
Imagine Learning Math
Based upon research, we are recommending this amount of access:
K – 15 minute session – 3-5 times per week on each program
1st and 2nd Grade – 20 minute session – 3-5 times per week on each program.
3rd and 4th Grade – 25 minute – 3-5 times per week on each program.
5th and 6th Grade – 30 minute session – 3-5 times per week on each program.
Students in Grades 7-8
Study Island ELA, Math, and Science
Each subject should be used for at least 30 minutes per week to realize the benefits.
These programs can be accessed from the Clever link found below or under site shortcuts on the main page.
In closing, we are looking forward to students and staff members smiling and engaged during school days. We remain committed to our families in adapting to our current conditions. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions or concerns.
Stay calm, Stay home, Stay safe!
