                As parents and life-longe educators, We know that we all want our children to grow up happy, healthy, and eventually have a better life than what we had. We also know this doesn't happen by accident. Being a parent is a difficult full-time job. Being a parent REQUIRES sacrifice, loss of sleep, "taxi cabing" and much more. Children need us for direction. All too often children come to school ill-prepared, unmotivated, and do not possess the necessary background information that would help them excel in school and in the world.
     
                Please do not let your children fall into that category. Join PTA and get involved in your child's future. Come to meetings, make your presence, needs and concerns known. The HTEMS PTA is a VERY active group of dedicated parents, who are ready and willing to lend a hand. If you are a member, GREAT, we'll see you at the next meeting. If you are not a member, join now and let us help you do the most difficult job of your life .....being a parent!
