  • Dear Parents/Guardians,
As we approach the end of the 2020-21 school year, I would like to share a few important dates and procedures to plan for....
    • All virtual and in person students will return their laptop, books and calculators on Thursday, June 10th.  In person students will return all supplies to their homeroom teachers.  All virtual students will do so in the main office of DEMS.  Please make sure all computers are cleaned and placed in their carrying case along with the power cord
    • June 11th, 14th, & 15th will be half day/virtual days.  There will not be any in person instruction on these final three days.  The final three days will be used for students in need of extra credit.  All extra credit must be arranged and approved by the subject area teacher.  Only students in jeopardy of failing the subject for the school year will be eligible for extra credit work.
    • The 11th, 14th, and 15th will also be used for the primary teachers to continue and complete their end of the year assessments.
    • There will not be any live sessions or posted assignments on the 11th, 14th, and 15th.
    • Any students that need to retain possession of their laptop in order to complete extra credit and/or EOY assessments they will be permitted to do so.  All students keeping their laptops past June 10th must return the laptop on either the 11th, 14th or 15 from 7am to 3pm.  Students will not be permitted to keep their computer past June 15th at 3 pm.
    • Any student that will not be attending school on the final in person day (June 10th) must return all school items on their final day of school, provided they will not be in need of their laptop for any of the above-mentioned reasons.
    • If you have any questions of concerns, please feel free to contact my office at (570)459-3221 ext. 20505
Thank you for all of your support and patience this school year!  Have an enjoyable summer vaca!!!
    Best,
    Mr. Marnell
