    Students, with the support of parents, should complete all of the listed assignments on each of their teacher’s website, weekly.   My assignments are listed below.  When you complete the assignments on my page, you will click the link at the bottom of this page to go to your next teacher's page. Take your time and complete the assignments at your own pace. Establish a daily routine.  If you have a question about any assignment, my email is listed above.

    Hello Third Grade! 

    I miss you all very much, and I am excited to begin this new adventure in learning with YOU!  Please remember I am here for you every step of the way.  If you have any questions or concerns regarding anything don't hesitate to message me using Class Dojo or email.   Each week I will be posting videos and learning opportunities for you to complete.  These purposeful tasks will help to reinforce and expand your knowledge of the desired skill.  Please continue to try your best and put forth your greatest effort.  You CAN do this!  You ARE worth it!  I BELIEVE in YOU!

    Learning Objectives for the week:

     Students will write specific goal statements describing how they will be awesome this summer.

     

    Standards Addressed:  3rd Grade ELA STANDARDS

    1.  Informational Text/Compare and Contrast

         RI.3.9  Compare and contrast the most important points and key details presented in two texts on the same topic.

    2.  Literature/Sequencing

         RL.3.3  Describe characters in a story (e.g., their traits, motivations, or feelings) and explain how their actions contribute to the sequence of events.

    3.  Informational Text/Main Idea

         RL.3.2  Determine the main idea of a text, recount the key details and explain how they support the main idea.

    4.  Literature/Ask and Answer Questions

         RL.3.1  Ask and answer questions to demonstrate understanding of a text, referring explicitly to the text as the basis for the answers.

    5.  Informational Text/Cause and Effect

         RI.3.8  Describe the logical connection between particular sentences and paragraphs in a text. (e.g., comparison, cause/effect/ first/second/third).

    6.  Writing

         W.3.4  With guidance and support from adults, produce writing in which the development and organization are appropriate to task and purpose.
