    As we begin a new school year, I am very excited to work with you and your child. I will do my best this school year in helping your child grow intellectually, emotionally, and socially. I would like to keep an open line of communication between us in regards to your child's performance.     Helpful Tips: 
     
    --Sign up for our ClassDojo by accepting the invite sent to either your cell phone number or email listed on skyward...you can use this to message me and I will be posting announcements and updates as well.  (If you did not get an invite please email me at steberm@hasdk12.org with a valid cell phone number or email address that I can send the invite to.)

    --Class Materials: 
     
     LANGUAGE ARTS STUDENTS:
    I recommend a notebook for each subject.  You will need a notebook for Spelling and English or you may choose to use a 2-subject notebook for those 2 subjects.
     
    SOCIAL STUDIES AND SCIENCE STUDENTS: 
    I recommend a pack of loose leaf paper, dividers or tabs, and a binder for each subject for my class. We will be using a binder to organize our guided notes, vocabulary, and review questions. I would like the binder to be divided into 4 sections for each subject: guided notes, vocabulary, review questions, and worksheets/packets.  Since we are only working on one subject at a time, you may choose to use the same binder for both Science and Social Studies, or you may purchase and organize one for each subject.
