      The Hazleton Area School District Elementary/Middle School Guidance Department believes that school counseling services are an integral part of the total educational program.  Our school counseling program, in collaboration with faculty, parents, and the community is designed to provide all students with opportunities and resources to accomplish developmental tasks within the areas of academic, career, and personal/social developemt needed to become effective learners.  These learners achieve success in school, live successful and rewarding lives, and develop in contributing members of society.
