    Students, with the support of parents, should complete all of the listed assignments on each of their teacher’s website, weekly.   My assignments are listed below.  When you complete the assignments on my page, you will click the link at the bottom of this page to go to your next teacher's page. Take your time and complete the assignments at your own pace. Establish a daily routine.  If you have a question about any assignment, my email is listed above. 


    Teacher Message: 

    This week we will read a realistic ficition story and discuss questions and answers.  Please watch the video of The Talented Clementine.  There will only be 2 assignments this week.   You can either email them to me or send them to me on Class Dojo like many of you have been. 

    The 4th quarter will be graded as unsatisfactory or satisfactory.  As long as you are participating and completing assignments you will be given a satisfactory! If you have any questions, please message me on Class Dojo or email me.  I will do the best I can to help you!  Please stay healthy and safe!

    On Tuesday, I will repost the lessons from the past 4 weeks in case you missed them.  You will have until Friday to make up any missed assignments.  I missed seeing everyone in the classroom, but we made it through this together!  Have a wonderful and safe summer! I will miss you all so much and can't wait to see you in the halls as 4th graders!  I will post a link for our last student Zoom session on Class Dojo :)

    Learning Objectives for the week:

    • Students will learn new vocabulary words and what they mean.
    • Students will understand realistic fiction.
    • Students will be able to answer questions using the context of the story.

    RL.3.1. Ask and answer questions to demonstrate understanding of a text, referring explicitly to the text as the basis for the answers.

    W.3.4 With guidance and support from adults, produce writing in which the development and organization are appropriate to task and purpose. (Grade specific expectations for writing types and defined in standards)

    Click on the link for your Third Grade Memory Book.  You could either type in it if you are working on a computer, or print it out and write your answers.  Feel free to share memories with me!  You do not have to share the finished product with me though.
