       Welcome to Mr. Berta's HASD web page!  Here you will find some information about classes I teach and links to relevant sites and information.  Materials for all my classes will be found on Microsoft Teams.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
     
       A little about me:
       I was born and raised in Sugarloaf, and my father instilled an interest in computers in me at a very young age.  I have always loved working with people and knew since elementary school that I wanted to become a teacher.  I taught computer classes for six years in the Hamburg Area School District followed by eight years teaching computer courses in the Mahanoy Area School District.  Despite working in other locations, I have always lived in the Hazleton area.  I am extremely excited to be working in the place I've always called my home!  In my spare time, in addition to computers and technology, I enjoy golf, exercise, amateur weather forecasting, and spending time with my family.  I am also the advisor for the iWorkout Club.  Workout Club meetings will take place Wednesdays starting September 2023 from 2:45-3:50 at HAAS.  Please contact me if you would like to be added to the iWorkout Club Team so that you can receive announcements/updates.
