Classroom Procedures
- Students are expected to be prepared with their necessary materials. They are required to bring their textbook and planners along with the recommended materials listed below. All students are expected to follow classroom rules along with district and school policies.
- Students will be working on a PDN (Please Do Now) problem at the beginning of each class.
- All written work should be neat, organized, and completed in pencil.
- Students absent or dismissed early are responsible for the classwork and homework they miss.
- Homework will be posted on my classroom board and website daily. Students are required to write down their assignments in their planner.
- Daily work covered during class will be posted each day on the "Daily Scoop" page on my website.
- 6th Grade will use a daily points system (points folder) to hold students accountable. The points restart on the first day of each month.
Recommended materials:
Math- 3 subject notebook (PDNs, vocabulary, and classwork/homework), silent reading book, pencils, dry erase marker, highlighter, and earbuds. Classroom calculators are provided but must remain in the room.
Spelling- 1 subject notebook, pencils, and a highlighter
English- 1 subject notebook, pencils, and a highlighter
