                Welcome to 2nd Grade!

     Hello! My name is Miss Perchak and I am very excited to teach 2nd grade. This is my eleventh year teaching 2nd grade at WHEMS and I enjoy everything about it. I look forward to all the exciting things we will experience together! It is nice to be back in school with everyone!!!  

     I went to elementary school at McAdoo Kelayres Elementary School. Then I went to West Hazleton Elem/Middle School for both 7th and 8th grade. I graduated from Hazleton Area High School in 2005. Finally,I went to college at Bloomsburg University and graduated in 2009.

     I continued my education and earned my Masters Degree in Classroom Technology from Wilkes University.  After graduating from college I was a substitute in many of the schools in the Hazleton Area School District. I am proud to be teaching in the district now and I cannot wait for all of our adventures we will take together in 2nd grade.

     Outside of school I love going for walks and spending time with my friends and family. I love the color blue and the Dallas Cowboys! I have always loved the beach, and my favorite is Ocean City, Maryland. My favorite animal is a dolphin , I loved swimming with them in Cancun, Mexico! My favorite treat is ice cream.
