Dear Students and Parents/ Guardians,
Welcome to Mrs. Ursta's Third Grade Class. I hope you are well and safe during this time. I am excited about beginning our new school year together . My goal is to help your child to be as successful as he or she can be. There are a few things that I would like to make you aware of so we can all get off to a great start. Each day we will follow our class schedule, moving through each class subject as the day goes on. I will be teaching Math, Science, Social Studies, and Health this year.
Third grade is a big change for students. We try to make it as stress-free as possible. However, communication is very important. If, at any time, you have questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to contact me via email at email@example.com
As always, my classroom expectations are to ensure that all students have the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed in all that they do. Therefore, the following is a list of some classroom guidelines that students will be expected to follow:
- Be prepared for class.
- Work quietly.
- Raise your hand to speak
- Listen carefully to the teacher and each other.
- Respect classmates and adults with kind words and actions.
- Complete and turn in assignments on time.
- Complete and turn in quizzes and tests on time.
At this time, I believe that we have covered the most important information. Again, please feel free to contact me at any time with questions or concerns. I look forward to getting to know your child and making this fun and, most importantly, a successful year for them!
