                     Greetings To All My Students and Parents! 

Welcome to third grade! My name is Karen Pugh, and I am super excited to be on this learning

adventure with all of you. During this school year, I will be teaching Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and Health. 

Throughout this third grade learning experience, it is important to have a strong teacher, parent, and

student bond. If at any time you have any questions or concerns, please use the following ways to

contact me and stay up to date with classroom information.

 * First, parent-teacher communication is very important to me.  While working from my classroom, I check my email

several times throughout the day.  If you need assistance of any type, please do not hesitate to

email me at pughk@hasdk12.org.  In addition, in urgent cases, you may contact the school at (570) 459-3221 ext. 25500,

and leave a detailed message with the school secretary, and I will return your call within a timely manner. 

*Second, if you and/or your child are not signed up with Class Dojo, you need to accept the

invitation that was sent out to you.  If you are unsure of how to use this program or your

invite has expired, please reach out to me and I will assist you.  Class Dojo will be available

to me throughout the day, and would be the preferred means of communication.  

*Third, all daily homework assignments and/or upcoming tests and quizzes will be posted on

this web page, as well as on Class Dojo.

Once again, I am super excited to be apart of this learning adventure with you and your child!
