    The Hazleton Area School District is a public school district in Pennsylvania, covering approximately 256 square miles, stretching over portions of Luzerne, Schuylkill, and Carbon Counties, and is among the largest public school districts in the state.
     
    Our mission is to provide safe and efficient transportation for all the students of the Hazleton Area School District.
     
    Every day, the Hazleton Area School District uses six (6) school bus contractors to run sixty-seven (67) regular education routes for the 2022-2023 School Year and is currently transporting:
     
                                    13,000 Public School Students (approx)
                                     359 Non-Public Students (approx)
     
    Special Education Transportation is provided by Krise Transportation, Inc. and is currently transporting about 350 students for the Hazleton Area School District.
