    writing pencils

What does my child need for school???

-Students in 3rd grade should have markers, crayons, pencils for both home and for school.  It is best to keep items in a pencil box or bag.  Please limit the amount of these items since students will need to carry them to various classes throughout the day WITHOUT the use of a backpack.  Students should also have atleast 1 notebook per class.  Different colors are suggested to help students stay organized with their various classes.  These classes include:  English/Grammar, Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Health.

-Students should have a clear plastic or see-through mesh backpack for their stuff.  This should be large enough to hold a folder and snack.

-We will have snack time each day UNLESS there is a half day, delay, and/or early dismissal.  If you would like to send in a snack/drink, please make sure it is healthy (NO candy/soda). Glass bottles are NOT allowed.  Limit your child’s options (snack is approx. 10 minutes) and provide the proper utensils to eat the sent snack.  Please note that there is no fridge or microwave available for students.

-To help keep the classroom operating smoothly, donations of hand sanitizer and tissues are always greatly appreciated!!!
