    Teacher Message: 
    Hi students and students' families,

    I miss you all very much! Here it is!  Our last Science Lessons!  If we all had out books, it would be chapter 10, lessons 1 and 2.  You may choose to do lesson1 this week and lesson 2 next week, or do both this week and be done with 5th grade Science for the YEAR!!!! Your choice!

    If you brought your books home, it would be helpful for you to read Ch 10.  If you have not, its ok, you weren't supposed to.  I've included our regular vocabulary pages and packet pages.  Please use a dictionary (online kids version is fine) to write down and define the vocabulary given below.  Please do your best to answer and turn in the packet pages.  To hand them in, take a picture and send the finished copy of each to my email with your name on your page and in the subject line of your email please. If you don't have a printer, that fine, just copy the sentences onto paper.

    Assignments:

    1.  Write and define the following vocabulary words in your notebook: autumnal equinox, vernal equinox, revolution, rotation, summer solstice, moon phases, winter solstice, solar eclipse, lunar eclipse, axis.   You can use your Science book (if at home) or online resources like the ones below.  These definitions may not be exactly the same as those in the packet, but they will have the same overall meaning.

    2.  IF you have your Science book at home, read Chapter 10, lessons 1 and 2.  If not, that's ok!
