• We all recognize the signs of inappropriate behavior: hitting, pushing, yelling, name-calling, refusal to cooperate, cyber bullying and out of control reactions to situations. Whether the behavior is directed at another child or an adult, the result is often the same. The "victim" is hurt, frustrated or scared, and the aggressor is punished for his/her inappropriate behavior.

It doesn't have to be that way. There are ways to cope with inappropriate behaviors in children that have a postive outcome for both you and the child.

The following link is provided to you to assist in obtaining information so that you can effectively address current issues with your child.  The link, http://www.attorneygeneral.gov/, addresses the origin of many common behavioral problems that children face in today's society.  Once at the site, go to the dropdown "Kids, Parents & Schools".

I hope that you find this site as valuable as I do.  The Valley Elementary/Middle School will continue to provide information and support to address all issues involving our children.

Thank you for viewing the Valley Elementary/Middle School website.
