    • November 2023  - Spelling Bee announced and study lists are given to interested 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. 
    • December 11th, 2023 MKEMS12 am - 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Spelling Bee. Parents are invited.
    • December 12th , 2023 MKEMS 12 am - 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Spelling Bee Snow Make-up Day. 
    • February 5th, 2024 - Hazleton High School  - District Spelling Bee - 6th, 7th, and 8th grade winners from MKEMS compete against other HASD students in the district. 
    • TBA -  Wilkes Barre Area High School - The Times Leader/Scripps NEPA Regional Spelling Bee.
