Phys. Ed.: 7th-8th
The students begin class by sitting in their assigned stretching area. I instruct them through a variety of lower and upper body stretches. This is followed by light cardio exercise, such as jogging, running, and skipping. I will begin each unit/sport by explaining the rules. Each sport will have approx. 2-3 skills for the students to learn. I will cover 1 skill per day. When I feel they have reached a proper level, the students will begin to use the skills in game situations. The students will be graded on the use of the skill(s) during each day. I will continue to assess each student's skill ability throughout the unit.
Health: 7th-8th
During class time, the students will be involved in note taking, discussions, group work, and class projects. All students will be expected to follow the classroom rules.

During class, the students will work on their listening skills, spacial awareness, and locomotor movements through a variety of activities and games.
