About the Teacher
Mrs. Kozlek has over 16 years experience in Educational Technology. She has been working for Hazleton Area School district since 2014.

Previously to that Mrs. Kozlek has served the role as K-8 computer teacher and Gifted Education Teacher. She has also served the role as a  K-12 Building Technology Coordinator and Integration Specialist for various districts over the years, but her passion will always be teaching. Mrs. Kozlek has developed technology professional development to her building staff and at state level workshops. She is also a First Lego League Robotics Coach for the greater Hazleton Area.  Under her direction students have won numerous technology awards including state level computer fair projects, the Pennsylvania State K'nex STEM building challenge, and FLL robotics challenges. Mrs. Kozlek has been lucky to work with so many creative, smart, and hard working students over the years!

On a personal note, Mrs. Kozlek is very happy to be teaching in her home town school district. She is married and the proud mother of three boys. Her areas of technology expertise include graphic design/animation, coding and web design. In her spare time you will find her coaching a robotics team and creating on her Mac/PCs.  Mrs. Kozlek helps teach local area youth STEM workshops via robotics and cub scouting.  She is passionate about technology, working with others, and teaching creativity and design to area youth.
