Grading is broken up as follows:
25% Class Work/Participation
25% Tests
25% Quizzes
25% Homework
Please review and refer to the Hazleton Area School District Attendance Policy with questions about attendance and absence procedures.
Missed homework assignments will be scored a 0 (zero) unless students are able to make up assignments. Students can review missed homework(s) at any point during the Marking Period. However, at the end of the Marking Period and if assignments are not completed, this will result in a reduction in Homework Grades.
Remember that the Hazleton Area School District uses the following scale for Grading:
A= 93-100
B= 85-92
C= 78-84
D= 70-77
F= 69 or lower (failing)
