Speech Therapy in the educational setting encompasses all modes of communication, speech, language, fluency, and pragmatics/social language skills.  We encourage the use of a total communication approach which may involve the use of sign language, picture communication symbols, and low level and high level assistive technology devices to promote functional communication skills for expressing wants and needs throughout the daily routine.  Instruction is also conducted to teach appropriate social language skills to be utilized in the school, home, and community environments.
