Band Certificate 2020
Every year I hand out certificates for participation in band. Since we cannot see each other to do this, I have made one that you may print out for yourself and proudly display framed on the wall! Please have your parents or someone with very nice handwriting put your name on the certificate. Or if you are familiar with Microsoft Paint you may digitally add a text box and put your name in that way before printing.

Peter and the Wolf Puppet Game
Click above for the 8 page file. You can do this by yourself, holding up the puppets when you hear the instrument or combination of instruments (for example Peter and the bird). Or if you have a house with others (brother, sister, mom, dad, grandmother, grandfather, aunt, uncle, etc.) they can play with you. I recommend using the recording with Boris Karloff on YouTube found here:

Penguin on the Piano
Read about the piano and color the picture like we do in class. Be creative or make it look like a photo...the choice is up to you and your imagination!
Here's a link to the song listed on the bottom of the reading page:
Here's a link to some relaxing Disney piano music for while you are coloring:

Valley Beginning Band Enrollment Packet 2019-2020
If your child is interested in starting their instrumental education in band with me, please return the information page as soon as possible. I would like to be able to give the representative from Robert M. Sides some idea of how many instruments we will need for the rental night in September. Thank you!
