Any HASD student entering grade 7 through 12 this upcoming 2024-2025 school year and interested in participating on one of our FALL sports teams, is required to get a physical examination and complete the PIAA CIPPE form prior to the official start date (Monday, August 12, 2024 for all FALL sports except for Football with a start date of Monday, August 5, 2024 for Heat Acclimatization).    The HASD/PIAA required physical (Section 6) and PIAA CIPPE form (Section 1 through 6) completion must be performed online in a 2 Step process as outlined below.  LVHN (Lehigh Valley Health Network) is assisting us in completing this process.  They are also offering a FREE sports physical clinic at the High School Gymnasium on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Each team has been assigned a time slot and we ask that all athletes sign up under the correct team time slot.  Click on the below link to do this.

Time will be separated by sport. Please sign up for the time slot corresponding to your sport on the sign-up genius Link below.

4:00pm: All Cheer, Water Polo

 5:00pm: All Football, MS/HS Cross Country

 6:00pm: MS/HS Boys and Girls Soccer, MS/HS Field Hockey, Tennis

 7:00pm: MS/HS Volleyball, Golf

8:00pm: Overflow (only use if all slots for your sport are taken)

Student athletes who show up without signing up for an appointment time will not be permitted to receive a physical.

FALL SPORTS PRE-SEASON & OFFICIAL START DAY SCHEDULE - 2024-2025 SEASON

Varsity Boys Soccer:    Starting Monday, August 5, 2024, Coach Ryan Scarcella and Coach Mark Sutherland will be having pre-season conditioning sessions at Community Park from 6:00 to 8:00.  August 12, 2024 is the first official day of mandatory practice.  Practice will be held at Community Park starting at 6:00 PM.

Varsity Girls Soccer:          Starting 05/25/24, Coach Marcello Posada will be having non-mandatory pre-season workouts/conditioning sessions for any girl entering grades 9 through 12 this upcoming school year every Saturday, at Butler Township Community Park located off N. Old Turnpike Road in Drums from 9:00 am to 11:00 am weather permitted.  Please either call or text Coach Posada at 570-578-1392 or email at posadam@hasdk12.org to get added to an app, TeamReach, where all official activities and schedules will be posted.  August 12, 2024 is the first official day of mandatory practice.  Practice and tryouts will be held at the HAHS Maple Manor Soccer Field from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.  Please make sure to wear proper soccer equipment (soccer cleats, shin guards, appropriate soccer/gym clothes).

Middle School Boys & Girls Soccer:          Starting Monday, July 22, 2024, Coach Matt Michelin will be having middle school soccer pre-season conditioning sessions everyday Monday through Friday from 3:30 to 5:30 at Raiders Field, behind the Track Complex at the high school.  These sessions are for boys and girls entering 7th and 8th grade this upcoming school year. Please bring a drink, wear cleats, and wear shin guards.  Any questions, email michelinm@hasdk12.org.  August  12, 2024 if the official day of mandatory practice.  Practice & tryouts will begin at 3:30  at Raiders Soccer Field.

Middle School Volleyball:  Monday, August 12, 2024 10:00AM - 11:30 AM in the HAHS Gymnasium.

Varsity Girls Tennis:  Monday, August 12, 2024 8:00AM is the first official day of mandatory practice/tryouts.
