Homework Policies
Written homework is typically assigned every 1 or 2 days and is due the following day. FULLY completed assignments will be scored 100, with anything else counting as a 0...makeups are possible.
If a student is absent when an assignment is given, he or she is responsible to find out the work and have it due the following day or it is graded as 0.
If a student is absent the day an assignment is checked, he or she is responsible to show it to me on the day of return, or it will be counted as incomplete--and a 0.
Makeup homework assignments will be accepted for up to 2 weeks, with a makeup grade of 80. Beyond this, the 0 remains in the permanent grade book.
When written homework is not assigned, students are expected to review notes and study flashcard topics. It is also recommended that students use Study Island, ThatQuiz, or IXL on their own time to practice current math topics.
