    PMEA District Chorus 2025

    Congratulations to Tiffany Taveras-Rosario (Soprano 2), Christina Cardona (Soprano 2), Leiloni Verges (Alto 2), and Cristin Guzman Lamar (Soprano I) who were selected and performed at the PMEA District 9 Chorus Festival from February 5-7, 2025 at Tunkhannock Area High School.  Hazleton Area is a part of District 9 which encompasses students from Wayne, Lackawanna, Susquehanna, Wyoming, and Luzerne Counties.

    Congratulations to Cristin Guzman Lamar (Soprano 1) for qualifying and performing in the PMEA Region IV Chorus from March 19-21, 2025.  Region Chorus was held at Lewisburg Area High School.

    Congratulations to Kiarelly Corcino Reyes (Soprano), Tatiana Sharonoff (Alto), and Leiloni Verges (Alto) for qualifying and performing in the PMEA District Vocal Jazz Festival at Forest City High School from April 3-4, 2025  Also performing as a par of the District Jazz Lab Choir were Tiffany Taveras-Rosario (Soprano), Roselin Hernandez (Alto), Joshua Medina Perez(Bass), Ian Aparo Ramos (Baritone) and Carlos Otero Jr. (Bass)
