    PMEA District Chorus 2024

    Congratulations to Leiloni Verges (Alto 2), Joshua Medina Perez (Bass I), Gabby Howe (Soprano 2), and Mia Torres (Alto I) who were selected and performed at the PMEA District 9 Chorus Festival from January 24-26, 2024 at Dallas High School.  Hazleton Area is a part of District 9 which encompasses students from Wayne, Lackawanna, Susquehanna, Wyoming, and Luzerne Counties.

    PMEA Region IV Chorus 2023

    Congratulations to Gabbi Howe (Soprano 2) and Leiloni Verges (Alto 2) for qualifying and performing in the PMEA Region IV Chorus from March 6-8, 202.  Region Chorus was held at Valley View High School.

    PMEA District Vocal Jazz Festival

    Congratulations to Gabbi Howe (Soprano) for qualifying and performing in the PMEA District Vocal Jazz Festival at Blue Ridge High School from April 11-12, 2024  Also performing as a pary of the District Jazz Lab Choir were Marieanne Nazario- Christian (Soprano), Kiarelly Corcino Reyes (Soprano) and Jolene Brotzman-White (Soprano)

    Luzerne County Chorus took place February 6, 2024 at Dallas High School.  Students representing HAHS were Luis Minaya Paulino(Bass), Eliza Garcia(Alto), Joshua Medina Perez(Bass), Roselin Hernandez(Alto), Tiffany Taveras-Rosario(Soprano), and Jolene Brotzman-White(Soprano)

    Below is a picture from the final festival of our year- Chorusfest 2024 was held at Honesdale High School March 15, 2024.  Students who represented HAHS were Luis Minaya Paulino(Baritone), Lily Morgan(Soprano), and Tiffany Taveras-Rosario(Soprano).
