SkillsUSA is a career and technical student organization serving nearly 400,000 high school students enrolled in training programs in trade, technical and skilled service occupations. Skills is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce.

SkillsUSA activities develop positive attitudes, build self-esteem and empower students to excel. They give students a head start in developing valuable professional skills such as communications, interpersonal abilities, time management, teamwork and more. Because SkillsUSA works hand-in-hand with business and industry, students get the skills employers want

SkillsUSA improves the quality of our nation’s future skilled workforce through the development of Framework skills that include personal, workplace and technical skills grounded in academics.

In addition to competing at district, state and national levels, we also hold various service learning opportunities throughout the year.  Some of the things we have offered in the past have been a talent show and a Heart Chase benefitting the American Heart Association.
