    Teacher Message: Remember that all of my assignments will be posted on Edgenuity.  If you decide to join our Zoom meetings on Thursdays at 1:00, you will not need to complete the Edgenuity assignments for my reading class.  I will be taking attendance and keeping track of all work being completed. The lessons for the rest of the school year are posted below in order for you to know what is expected before the end of the school year.


    Weekly Objective(s): Week of 5-11The students will complete be introduced to mythology and will complete lessons associated with the video and readings.  They will then explore the Titanic understanding language and purpose. 

    Week of 5-18 The student will Read an excerpt from Robert Frost's "Road Not Taken" and complete lessons on chance and choice.  They will also learn about Allusion and metaphor using the writing "I, too, Sing America"


    Week of 5-25 The students will complete assignments using words choice and author's purpose.  They will also read an excerpt from "Warriors Don't Cry."


    Week of 6-1 The students will work on any assignments they were not able to complete. This will allow extended time for those who need it.

    PDN: Read for 15 minutes.
