Reevaluations must be completed for the following reasons:
- 2 years for students with an Intellectual Disability and 3 years for all other disability categories.
- When requested by the parent.
- If you are thinking of changing the placement or decreasing any services (academic support, related services, etc.) of an in-state transfer student.
- When conducting an FBA that includes assessments. Assessments can be an OT sensory assessment and/or behavioral rating scales.
- A change in placement.
- When a student transitions from Early Intervention.
- To discontinue a related service.
- To exit from special education.
- Any time the team feels that new information is needed.
- If there is a need for change in or addition to disability category.
