Handwriting
The practice of handwriting very important. Even if your child has already established this skills, please continue to practice! You can work on forming shapes, printing letters, numbers, your child's name, or small words.
Idea for tracing:
-have your child trace over highlighter
-form shapes/letters/numbers with playdough and have your child use his or her finger to trace the letters
-tracing letters with finger paint
Ideas for printing:
-sidewalk chalk
-form shapes/letters/numbers in shaving cream with finger or Qtip
-use a paintbrush or Qtip to form shapes/numbers/letters in paint
-use of a pencil/crayon/marker on paper
-fill a plastic bag with hair gel and form letters
-dry erase board
