Students, with the support of parents, should complete all of the listed assignments on each of their teacher’s website, weekly.   My assignments are listed below.  When you complete the assignments on my page, you will click the link at the bottom of this page to go to your next teacher's page. Take your time and complete the assignments at your own pace. Establish a daily routine.  If you have a question about any assignment, my email is listed above. 

  Hello Everyone!! I hope you are all doing well!  I really miss teaching all of you! I miss all of your faces and our HUGE flower on the back wall that we all made the last week we were in school!

I hope everyone enjoyed learning new material in science the last 3 weeks! All of you did a fantastic job!! Tomorrow is the last day of instruction, so therefore this week will be for make up work. If you haven't completed all of the science lessons, please submit by this Friday. Have a wonderful week and enjoy your summer!

Classifying Animals:  Chapter 2

Students, please watch this week’s lesson and complete the assignments below– you should complete this by the end of the week.  This week I narrated a Powerpoint Slide show on Chapter 2, Lesson 3.  Please click on each of the 7 slides and listen to the lesson as many times as you would like! I also reviewed what you are expected to do this week. All work should be submitted by Friday.  If you have any questions, please contact me at mcnelisd@hasdk12.org

Assignment #1  On a piece of paper, look up the 4 vocabulary words seen on Slide 3.

Assignment #2 Watch this video on Endangered and Extinct Animals. Please write a few sentences on what you have learned.

Assignment #3  On a piece of paper, complete the review questions on slide 5.

EXTRA CREDIT:  If you would like, you can make a model of a fossil! EXAMPLE:  Roll clay or Playdough into a ball.  Press the ball with the palm of you hand.   Press any object you'd like into the clay. Remove the object from the clay.  The imprint in the clay is similiar to that of the imprint of a fossil!

Log into Imagine Learning/Reading:
You must complete at least 40 minutes per week

To access Imagine Learning you must use Google Chrome browser.  Click on the Chrome icon to download Google Chrome and then return to THIS PAGE and click on the Clever icon to begin your Imagine Learning Lesson.
