Step 1: After you read the information in step 2, 3, & 4, proceed to access the FBI & Child Abuse Clearances through the link below.  Once you enter the correct service codes, follow the information/directions on the link page to complete all the clearances.

Step 2: Only use the service name/service code listed in this step (step 2) for the FBI and Child Abuse Clearance.  The clearance will be registered with the Department of Human Services (DHS). Begin by entering service code: 1KG756. At the top of the page, you should see the service name " Employee>= 14 Years Contact with Children”

Step 3:  DO NOT REGISTER AS A SCHOOL DISTRICT EMPLOYEE. If you registered as a School District Employee with a code of 1KG6NX you must start over and register with the code listed in Step 2.

Step 4: Continue the process by following the directions of the FBI.  The Child Abuse link will require you to select a reason for the request, select Employee>=14 Years Contact with Children". 

Steps 5, 6, & 7 only need to be completed if you are NOT a PA resident, or have lived in PA < 2 years.   The state requires that you to complete fingerprinting with the Pennsylvania Department of Aging (PDA). For this process, use the code in step 6.

Step 6: Begin registration by entering the service code, 1KG8RJ

Step 7: Follow the directions on the website.
