WELCOME

The Arts & Humanities are interconnected through the inclusion of history, criticism and aesthetics. Taught within the confines of the Hazleton Area High School building, the HAAH program showcases not only individual student's creative spirits, but it provides a conduit by which the academic and the artistic talents of our community's young artists may shine though. 

The academic standards utilized for the Arts and Humanities curriculum define the specific content for planned instruction, resulting in measurable gains for all students in knowledge and skills as well as providing a basis of learning for continued study in the arts. 

Students may elect to audition for an arts-studio placement in the following catagories: Visual Arts, Drama, Dance, Vocal Music, Instrumental Music, and Communication Arts.
