    Important Dates and Meetings:

    This year, it was asked that high school advisers do a hybrid approach to meet the needs of all our students across the district. I will try to host the meetings both virtually and in person as much as possible. The virtual meeting will also be recorded for students who can't attend either dates.
     
    Welcome to FBLA meeting (You don't need to attend both, but are welcome to)
    October 7th- Virtual FBLA meeting at 7:00 pm (Welcome to FBLA meeting), (Link will be provided in teams...sign the google form or email Mrs. Kozlek to join )
    Kindly remember, you must be added to our team to see the meetings, please email Mrs. Kozlek if you run into any issues. 

    October 14th- In person at the HS Auditorium at 5:00 pm (Welcome to FBLA meeting) -Dues Collection
     
    Competitive Event Explained Meeting/Dues Collection (You don't need to attend both, but are welcome to)
    October 21st- Virtual FBLA Meeting at 7:00 pm (Competitive Events Explanation), (Link will be provided here in teams)
    October 28th- In person at the HS Auditorium at 5:00pm (Competitive Events Explanation) -Dues Collection
     
    As a member of FBLA you will also have a ton of opportunities outside of our high school meetings. There will be opportunity for guest speakers, virtual games/competitions, and resources for you to be a part of.

    Future Business Leaders of America
     
    The mission of the FBLA-PBL is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs. Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda is a nonprofit, education association of students preparing for careers in business and business fields. The association has four divisions.
    • FBLA Middle Level for middle, intermediate, and junior high school students
    • FBLA for high school students (grades 9-12)
    • PBL for post secondary students
    • Professional Division for business people, educators, parents, and anyone who supports the goals of the association.
    Anyone who is interested in business or business-related careers can and should join the FBLA-PBL. Anyone can become a professional member. If you would like more information on Pennsylvania FBLA-PBL, click here.
     
    Over 250,000 students and advisers participate annually in over 14,000 chartered chapters in 50 states, including the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, U.S. Territories, Bermuda, and the Department of Defense Dependent Schools worldwide. Pennsylvania membership is over 13,000, with 294 active chapters in 28 regions. PA FBLA is the 3rd largest chapter in the association. The Hazleton Area School District chapter of Future Business Leaders of America is the largest in the state with over 250 members.
