Respect reigns within the classroom/El respeto reina dentro de la sala de clase
This includes respect for the teacher, fellow students and their possessions, themselves, others who enter the classroom, the classroom and subject being taught. Esto incluye respeto para la profesora, los compañeros y sus posesiones, ellos mismos, otros que entran la sala de clase, la sala de clase y la materia que se enseña.
Students are to come to class on time and be prepared/Los alumnos deben llegar a tiempo y preparados
Being prepared means having textbooks, notebooks/binders, a writing utensil, and a positive attitude! Estar preparados quiere decir que deben tener el libro, el cuaderno, algo con que escribir, y una actitud positive.
I do not allow students to go to their lockers once the class has begun and it is encouraged that the students go to the restroom in between classes. No permito que los alumnos vayan al armario una vez que la clase haya empezado y se recomienda que los alumnos vayan al baño entre clases.
If pencils need to be sharpened, it is to be done at the beginning of class before the lesson begins.
Si necesitan sacar punta a los lápices, deberían hacerlo al principio de clase antes de que se empiece la lección.
Follow all other school rules/ Sigan las reglas de la escuela
This includes, but is not limited to: coming to class on time; the student may receive a zero for assignments/assessments given on that day, the usage cellphones and electronics; they should not be utilized nor visible during instruction, etc.
Esto incluye pero no es limitado a: llegando a clase a tiempo, el alumno puede recibir un cero para los trabajos/examines administrados en ese día; el uso de celular y electrónicos, no deberían ser utilizados o visibles durante el tiempo de instrucción, etc.
Assessment/Evaluación:
I do not give grades; they are earned/No regalo las calificaciones, deben ser ganadas.
You will be graded based on a points system/Van a ser calificados basados en un sistema de puntos.
Make-up Work Policy
It is the students responsibility to find out what work was missed/Es la responsibilidad del estudiante averiguar que trabajo falta.
Ask a classmate first for any missed notes or assignments/Pregúntele a un compañero primero por los apuntes o trabajos.
See me for missed handouts/worksheets/Véanme cuando faltan para las hojas de trabajo.
Students will have 24 hours to make up missed work/Los estudiantes tienen 24 horas para entregar trabajo que falta.
If a student is absent for three or more consecutive days, a schedule will be arranged to make up the missed work/Si un estudiante está ausente por tres o más días consecutivos un horario va a ser organizado para poder hacer el trabajo.
If a quiz or test is missed, the student must see me immediately to schedule a time to take the exam/Si faltan una prueba o un examen, el estudiante tiene que verme inmediatamente para fijar una hora para tomar el examen.
Any work not made up within two days, or by the date scheduled, will receive a zero/Cualquier trabajo no hecho dentro de dos días, o la fecha fijada, recibirá un cero.

To develop writing skills you will be able to write and spell grammatical forms learned in classes as well as to write answers to familiar questions.5.
