Hazleton Area School District paraprofessionals are essential to the success of our classrooms. They provided fundamental support for students with disabilities to help make classrooms more inclusive.

Paraprofessional Knowledge and Skill Development
The link below contains trainings that provide special education paraprofessionals with useful information on educational methods and resources that may be used when working with students in various educational settings. Using these trainings special education paraprofessionals will gain knowledge on the standards listed in the PA Credential of Competency and obtain required PDE in-service training hours.
- To earn staff development hours, paraprofessionals must watch a video, answer assessment questions, and print a Certificate of Attendance.
- All videos are to be viewed using a laptop or desktop computer only. The video tracker will not engage when viewing videos from your smart phone or tablet device.
