         The Special Education Department provides services that are designed to support individual students' unique needs in the least restrictive environment. We provide a continuum of services that assist students in gaining educational benefit  Services are provided for students identified with intellectual disabilities, hearing impairments, speech-language impairments, visual impairments, emotional disturbances, specific learning disabilities, multiple disabilities, autism, or orthopedic impairments. Gifted programs are provided for qualified students who require instruction beyond that which is available through the general education curriculum.
