To participate in the Junior Academy, students will do a scientific experiment in which they will present in the form of a research paper. The students will be made aware of the criteria that the Judges will use to evaluate them.  They can pick a project from a variety of scientific fields such as:  Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

Regional Competition: This is usually held the first Saturday in March at King’s College in Wilkes Barre.  Any student who receives a first place award will be eligible to attend the State Competition.

State Competition:  This is held in May for three days (Sunday-Tuesday) at Penn State University in State College.
