HEALTH CAREERS
INSTRUCTOR: ALYCE NICHOLAS
Health Careers II includes a focus on Anatomy and Physiology, communications, and medical terminology. Students perform health care skills such as hand washing, moving and transporting patients, and measuring and recording temperature, pulse, and respirations.Health Careers III provides two days of classroom instruction at the Career Center and three days at the Hazleton General Hospital where there are assigned observational clinical experiences in twenty different departments. The students also have a weekly presentation by hospital personnel on various healthcare careers and issues.
